The pattern for the lantern shape motif is based on a granny hexagon pattern, but the designer has made a few changes to come up with the curved design the tessellates.
Finished blocked measurement: Approximately 22.5cm (9in) at widest point, 174cm (68 1/2in) long to end of central strip of motif - add extra length with optional fringe.
